Lili of the Valley - A Sketch

Hi there, a bit of a foggy start here this morning but don't worry because I have a bright and cheery card for you all today. Thursday always sees a new challenge on Lili of the Valley and we have a great sketch for you this week. I have turned it upside down but apart from that I have stuck to it!!

Don't you just love this colour combo. Basic Grey always produce such fabulous papers - I just wish they had more than 2 sheets of each design in each pad :o(

It has been ages since I used this sweet Teddy with Bouquet and I have to admit it was nice to make a non christmas card!

Challenges

By the cute & Girly - Indian Summer

I have lots to do before work so I will come back later and add my list of products etc. Have a great day and I hope you get chance to join in with us all.

Music Saves My Soul Saturday #2

Hi everyone. Time again to share your favourite songs with everyone. I loved visiting your blogs and listening to your songs - I can't believe there were some that I had never heard before!!! I am really glad I started this now because I love hearing new music :o)

Can I also say a HUGE thanks to those of you who joined in on the first week.

A few people have asked about the artwork - she is just adorable isn't she. I found her on the internet with no copyright attached so she has become my little logo.

My song this week is one that I heard on the radio on the way to work the other day - I absolutely love it and it just puts a big smile on my face. I had to find the 'polite' version to put on here because the original is a little naughty ... tut tut!!!

To play along please post the picture of 'Music Saves My Soul' to your sidebar and link it to my blog to help spread the word. If you could then share your video on your blog and link it to the blue frog below that would be fabulous. I will send a little candy to my favourite song each week. Fingers crossed you play along with me.

Pop back later to find out who won my candy from last week.

Just Magnolia - A sketch

Morning, what a dreary day it is today - looks like autumn is back again. But .... it is Friday and that is fab because not only is it the end of the working week for lots of us it is also time for another challenge on Just Magnolia. We have a really easy sketch fo you all to follow this week so come on, no excuse - join in the fun!

How beautiful are these papers. OMG it hurt to cut them but I am glad I did. They are by Kaiser Craft and from the Gypsey Sisters 6x6 pad. Talk about lush = the pack has flocked, glittered and glazed papers - no wonder I needed to lay down after cutting them!!!!

I have also made Tilda a brunette - something I don't usually do cos I am scared of change but I am glad I had a go ... more practice is needed I think, lol.

Challenges

A Spoonfull of Sugar - Anything Goes
Crafts & Me - Easels
Flutterby Wednesday - All winged things
Charisma Cardz - Anything Goes

Another brownie point for me for yet another easel card - I am so impressed with myself for keeping them going. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to join in my 'Music Saves My Soul' challenge - there is a new one every Saturday so you still have chance to join in ....... click the button at the top right of my blog.

Hi everyone, how's your week going so far??? Mine is ok and it is almost the weekend ....woohoo. I was delighted when I saw the challenge for this week on Lili of the Valley .... you all know how I love different colours for my christmas cards - well this week is the perfect challenge for me ......

UNTRADITIONAL CHRISTMAS

More fab new papers for me to play with. I just love pink and green combo and how pretty are these .... sweet!!!! I have used the very cute 'Mr Snowman' in his rather camp pink scarf .... think we should rename him as Mrs Snowman for this week!

Still managing to do all cards as easels ... how long can it last????

I have kept my card fairly simple and been good and only used ribbons with NO flowers - can you believe it!!! Think I need to lay in a dark room to recover hahaha.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp - Sketch #37
Secret Crafter - Anything Goes
Wild Orchid Crafts - Ribbons & Bows

There ..... finished! Hope you can join in this week. I love making christmas cards in colours other than red or green. See you all again tomorrow xxx

Morning, I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the weekend. I have decided to bring you something a little different today. Well, yesterday a very lovely blogging buddy reminded me of this and so I have decided to start a new little thing for fun.

I absolutely love music and cannot imagine life without it. I love all types of music and so each week I will post a song that I have in my head or one that I just feel like sharing. I have to share the one and only Lady GaGa for my first post cos I love her sooooooooooooo much!!!!!
